Viewing images in another application

You can open a file in another program from within ACDSee. For example, you can open documents in the application used to create them.

To use the shell open and edit commands:

1. Click File | Shell.

2. Select one of the following options:

3. Open: opens the file using the application that Windows associates with its file extension.

4. Edit: opens the file using the default system application, or opens a dialog box where you can select an application.
